Both my aunts got invited to the launch of Reebonz Solitaire Membership. It's a prestige membership for selected Reebonz members. All selected members get invited to this launch event held at the National Museum of Singapore. Each invite can bring along 2 guests so I'm honoured that they invited my mom, Darryll and I to be part of this.

Every party and event doesn't start punctually so while waiting, we were served cocktails. A live band was playing jazz music and even though I found the singer to have over-exaggerated movements (while singing of course), I liked the setting. It was a nice feeling to be there with family members.

And when the sky got darker, we were served champagne with bite-sized appetizers.

After a little bit of introduction of the Reebonz Solitaire membership, the fashion runway began with 3 models walking down the runway with vintage Chanel accessories. Here are some photos which I took (the rest are slightly shaky):

I really liked this Chanel laptop bag but it isn't practical at the moment :(

The private sale took place right after the fashion show. Every item that was being paraded down the runway is a one-off piece. This means that these bags are no longer retailing in stores, however, Reebonz managed to grab hold of these vintage pieces for us... ONE PIECE OF EACH DESIGN ONLY! I know that no one else will walk out that door buying the same exact piece as me!

There were Louis Vuitton accessories as well but they weren't the highlights of the night. Their products displayed could be found retailing in stores still.

And after much decision and holding on to some pieces, guess what I came home with??

For those that didn't purchase anything, Reebonz didn't let them walk home empty handed. We were given freebies!!

The latest copy of Bazaar magazines,

Shiseido's travel-size White Lucent range of products,

And an envelope that contained several facial/spa vouchers and a leather cleaning kit. How impressive!!

No more excessive spending for now ;P
